Our majority Owner’s involvement in post-tensioned construction began in 1987 while employed with a multinational segmental bridge contractor. Initially focused on building segmental bridges in South Florida, the company diversified into structural repair, incorporating external post-tensioning methods. By 1989, he assumed the role of Florida Regional Manager for a prominent national structural restoration firm. This was when the other two owners joined the team. Over the following eight years, they spearheaded the establishment of in-house capabilities for post-tensioned cable repairs.
In 1996, they founded their own contracting company in South Florida, swiftly gaining recognition as a premier provider of post-tensioned structural repairs. Recognizing unmet needs in the market, they embarked on developing a few innovative products, resulting in several patented inventions that formed the cornerstone of Post-Tension Products.
By late 2022, Post-Tension Products had transitioned from a modest online presence to a comprehensive enterprise specializing in the development, production, and distribution of niche post-tension products. Throughout this evolution, they have maintained the contracting arm to facilitate the development and rigorous testing of new products prior to market release.
