Splice Coupler – Bare steel, ½” cable (Hollow Body)
This is the latest addition to our innovative line of splice couplers. Whereas the SC1 is machined with a solid internal center, the new SC3 is hollow. This is for those instances that require the strand to pass completely through the splice during installation. Just like our original SC1 splice, the SC3 is SMALL! These splice couplers are less than 1.5″ in diameter and 5″ long, which means they will fit in tight spots that other splices won’t. Our splices also fit inside either 1.5″ HDPE or PVC pipe and can be encapsulated using our Patented Splice Cap.
For use with 1/2” seven wire cables.
Available only in a bare steel finish.
Hollow body permits the strand to pass completely through the splice.
